Former stables. Late C18. Skiddaw slate rubble with flush calciferous
sandstone quoins and dressings. Graduated greenslate roof with rendered chimney
stack. 2½ storeys, 3 bays. External stone steps to first-floor plank door in
quoined surround. Lattice iron-grille windows in stone surrounds. Right return
wall has brick segmental-arched carriage opening. Rear lean-to garage/shed.
Brick passageway connecting with house is not of interest.
