Parish Church. 1794 with 1870 restoration. Mixed slate and split cobble
rubble, under graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and cross finial.
2-bay nave/chancel with polygonal north-west turret and polygonal south-west
baptistery. West pointed-arched doorway between tower and baptistery. 2-light
nave windows and 3-light east window. Interior has open timber roof. Late C19
furnishings, carved door frame, altar panelling and pulpit. Late C19 figurative
stained glass and brass windowsill memorial inscriptions. Various brass wall
plaques mostly to the Hoskins of Higham Hall. Carved pedestal font in
baptistery is dated 1661 with initials VMB.
