House, formerly 2 cottages. Probably C18. Plastered cob on rubble footings; cob or
rubble stacks topped with C19 brick; thatched roof. Originally a pair of 1-room plan
cottages with gable end stacks. 2 storeys. 4-window front of late C19-early C20
casements with glazing bars. Door set right of centre behind a C20 thatched and
gable-roofed porch which includes a reset C19 door with Gothick hinges. Window left
of centre blocking former doorway. A small outshot on left end has a late C19 window
with leaded panes of shaped glass. Plain carpentry detail to interior.
