Former farmhouse in early C19 converted to 4 cottages and now occupied as 3
cottages. Probably late C16, extended in C17.
Rendered stone and cob. Slate roof, gable end to right-hand front wing, hipped to
left-hand wing. Tall front lateral hall stack with tapered cap. Stone rubble
stack at left end. Lateral brick stack to outer face of left-hand wing. Brick
ridge stack to right.
Much altered former 3-room-and-through-passage plan with front projecting wings to
each side forming overall U-shaped plan.
2 storeys. 3 half-gabled dormers to main range containing 3-light casements, 2 to
left with 4 panes per light, that to right 3 panes per light. Ground floor has 2-
light casement, 3 panes per light to left of plank door with slate pentice roof.
Hall section breaks forward slightly with 3-light casement, 3 panes per light.
Plank door at right end. Left-hand wing has 2 half-gabled dormers above 2 small
rectangular window openings to right of plank door with slate pentice roof. C19.
2-light casements, 8 panes per light above 3-light casement, 6 panes per light to
front end. C20 fenestration to right-hand wing.
Interior: not accessible.
