House. Probably late C16 or C17 origins, remodelled in C20. Whitewashed rendered
rubble and cob. Corrugated asbestos roof with gable ends. Lateral rear hall stack
with offsets. 3-cell plan, with stairs inserted in cross-passage with doorway
infilled, but with blocked doorway and entrance moved to rear at lower end. 1 1/2
storeys. 4-window ground floor range. C20 fenestration throughout. Dormer with
raking roof. Lean-to at left end with corrugated asbestos roof. Chamfered beam and
fireplace lintel to hall. Part of original roof structure survives over upper end,
one truss with straight purlins 2 tiers of trenched purlins and original rafters and
thatch in situ.
