Farmhouse. C17 but possibly earlier origins. Whitewashed rendered rubble.
Scantling slate roof with gable ends. Brick stack at right end and tall rubble
front lateral hall. stack heightened in brick. Truncated stack heating first floor
only at left gable end. 3-cell through-passage plan with extended lower end,
possibly originally a byre. 2-storeys, 4-window range C20 fenestration. Hall
window breaks forward in line with stack slated lean-to canopy. Asbestos slate
lean-to roof to porch and cross-passage plank door. Small 4-paned casements to
right. Ground floor openings have thin slate dripmoulds. Small L-shape single-
storied right angled projection to rear with brick stack and projecting bread oven
with rounded slate cap. Blocked pigeon holes to rear wall of main range and
projecting stair turret towards right end. Blocked through-passage doorway also to
rear. 4, possibly C17 trusses survive but roof space not inspected.
