Linhay or cart store. C18 on C19. Rubble stone, some timber frame, corrugated
iron roof. A small hipped-roof structure which has stone walling at back and
right side, returned, by a curve to a section of wall to road, to left an open-
ing, part timber framed, with horizontal board upper part and vertical stone
slab orthostats below; large plank door left. Left side towards stream or mill
lear, also framed, with stone orthostats. Right end carries hinge pins for
former gateway. roof is 3-bay A frame. A small, unexplained structure, not
directly associated with the adjacent farm, but said to have been a cart shed.
Minimal, but redolent of the agricultural past of the little settlement.
