GV II
House. Early C18, altered C20. Red brick in Flemish bond,
hipped tile roof. Rectangular plan with stable block adjoining
on right (qv).
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic. 2 end chimneys with corniced
heads and clay pots. String at first floor with line of blue
headers; brick parapet over cornice band. Sash windows with
glazing bars, in moulded frames; gauged brick heads. Entrance
(north-east) front: symmetrical. 5 bays. 3 gabled roof
dormers. Central door of 6 fielded panels in moulded wooden
architrave with rectangular fanlight under cornice hood.
