Watermill. Late C18. Red brick with chequered decoration of flared headers.
Basement and bridge under which mill race flows are of coursed ironstone.
Clay tile roof. Rectangular building, gable end to road, of 2 storeys and
attics on a basement looking E. W elevation : 4 window range, all C19 cast
iron casements with rebuilt cambered heads. Plank door to 3rd bay, loading
door to 2nd bay of first floor. Road gable end : blocked doorway to first
floor, single light to attic. Attic has exposed timber framing. E elevation
: similar fenestration. Substantial undershot wheel still in situ under
bridge.
