GV II
House. C18, reworked C19, "I.L. 1854" on W chimney stack. Colourwashed
plaster render on brick. Clay tile roof with decorative ridge cresting. T-
plan, 2 storeys and attics. LH block has first floor band and wood dentil
eaves cornice. RH block has bands at first floor and eaves level. Sash
windows with glazing bars, LH block with 2 to ground floor and 3 to first
floor, RH gable with one per floor. LH block has central doorway with moulded
panel door, semi-circular fanlight and flat hood on Shepherd's crook pilaster/
brackets (a feature peculiar to the region). Rendered multiple ridge stack to
LH block, rendered stack to side of W block. Adjoining to W is single-
storeyed block, the central 3-light window with moulded cornice.
