House. C17, reworked C19. Timber framed construction with colourwashed
roughcast render to front and pebbledash render to E. W gable end rebuilt in
C20 brick. Clay tile roof. 2-room plan, one storey and attics, with later 2
storeyed block projecting from rear, forming overall L-plan. Ground floor has
wood mullion and transom to LH and projecting rectangular shop front to RH. 2
gabled dormers with 2-light casements. Doorway, in line with red brick double
ridge stack, has part-glazed door and pedimented door hood on cut brackets.
This is surmounted by single-light window. Wood brackets to eaves cornice.
Red brick integral stack to LH gable end.
