8/31 The Old Crown (formerly listed as
13.7.64 the Crown Inn)

GV II

House. C17. Colour washed rough cast over timber frame. Old clay tile roof.
T-plan, one storey and attics. Main block: front door with gabled doorhood on
cut brackets, one 3-light casement with glazing bars. Cross-wing projecting
gable: C19 canted bay window to ground floor, 2-liqht casement to attic
floor. Red brick double ridge stack to main block. Roof has 4 bands of
fishscale tiles. Lean-to addition to E gable end, other later additions to
rear, all colour washed brick.
