TL 15SW GREAT BARFORD HIGH STREET

House. C17 with C19 front addition. Original part: colour washed rough cast
over timber frame, with old clay tile roof. L-plan, rear wing of 2 storeys,
front wing of one-storey and attics. W elevation has sashes with glazing bars
to both floors, ground floor LH one of 3 lights, half-hipped roof to front
block, red brick multiple stack to rear wing. N elevation has 2 box dormers
with moulded cornices and 2-light casements. Later front addition: colour
washed brick, old clay tile roof. Double gabled, 2 storeyed block. RH ground
floor has dummy window, other 3 are sashes in reveals with rendered flat
arches.
