Farmhouse. C17, altered in the C18 and later. Local rubble
with some granite dressings; dry slate hipped roof and some
corrugated asbestos to rear wing; 2 rendered axial stacks and
an outbuilt gabled lateral stack at rear. Probably a 3-room
and through-passage plan originally plus a lower service wing
at rear left and a later and altered lean-to in the rear
angle.
2 storeys; 5-window range with C20 windows in C18 or altered
and later wide segmental-arched openings. At front left are 2
blocked C17 chamfered window openings, one with a central
mullion. Doorway towards right has timber lintel over a
panelled door.
INTERIOR: not inspected but may contain some original features
of interest.
Interest enhanced by the survival of some C17 features and by
its grouping with a notable dovecote (qv),
