Barn. Circa late C15 or early C16, re-using some earlier arcade posts; extended in the C18. Weatherboarded timber-frame. Roof mainly thatched, but lower parts with clay plain tiles; half - hipped south end, hipped north end, gabled wagon entrance.
PLAN: Rectangular plan; circa late C15 or early C16 barn of 5 framed bays with a midstrey on the west side of the central bay and with 5 arcade posts from an earlier barn; east and west aisles added in c18 and north outshut added in C19.
EXTERIOR: Roof carried down over aisles to low eaves on east and west sides and over outshut on north end. Gabled midstrey at centre of west front.
INTERIOR: Jowled arcade posts [five of which are earlier] with curved braces to the tie- beams. Circa C16 queen-post roof with raking struts and two tiers of purlins, the lower are butt-purlins, the upper are clasped-purlins and with straight wind-braces.
