Mill, probably originally water-powered woollen mill, late C18, now
scrap-metal warehouse. Coursed sandstone rubble, stone slate roof on 2
levels. Rectangular 4-bay plan, with 2-bay continuation to right. Basement
and 2 raised storeys, with continuation 2 storeys to lower level. Mill has at
right hand end a large round-arched doorway approached by steps, to left at
raised ground floor level 4 square windows, all 2 lights with flush mullions
except 3rd, which is altered; 1st floor has flush mullion windows of 2, 4, 4,
and 4 lights (3rd altered and lacking one mullion). Rear has at 1st floor 6
taller windows, mostly 2 lights with flush mullions. Continuation to right,
possibly originally one or 2 dwellings, has doorway on each floor at left end
