Cottage. Dated 1673 with C19 alterations. Slobbered squared rubble, painted stone
dressings, stone slate roof. Lobby entry plan. Gable end to street. 2 storeys,
3 bays. Entrance right of centre has moulded surround, round arch of 10 voussoirs.
projecting moulded imposts. Datestone enclosed by hoodmould inscribed AR; plank
door, upper part glazed. Left and right-hand ground floor and upper floor 4-light
double chamfered mullioned and transomed windows; casements and fixed lights. To
left of entrance is transomed double chamfered fire window with a chamfered single
light above to upper floor. Ground floor dripmould. Break in masonry on upper
floor apparently represents rebuild after C19 fire when wall was set-back slightly.
Shaped gable end kneelers and central ridge stack.
