Farmhouse, dated 1668 with late C19 and 1980s alterations. Slobbered rubble, stone
dressings, stone slate roof. Gable end to street. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Gabled
entrance porch left of centre has chamfered surround and shaped kneelers; plank
door; entrance inside has moulded surround, Tudor arched lintel inscribed A1668R;
6-panel door. Immediately to left is blocked entrance with chamfered surround and
traces of gabled hood. 3 ground floor and 3 upper floor windows have plain late
C19 surrounds, C20 casements. Right-hand upper floor single light chamfered window.
Traces of blocked C17 windows on both floors. Left-hand gable end shaped kneeler
and coping, left-hand gable end ridge and right of centre ridge stack. Continuous
outshut at rear probably contained a staircase. Front right-hand room contains
massive inglenook fireplace with basket arch and chamfered surround.
