Farmhouse. Late C18 incorporating building of 1695; late C19 alterations.
For Nicholas Cheeseman on his marriage to Dorothy Horsley. Coursed
limestone rubble with quoins, pantile roof and brick stacks. 3-cell,
hearth-passage plan. 2-storey, 3-window front. At centre right, C20 door
beneath overlight in painted quoined opening with lintel inscribed:

Windows throughout are 4-pane sashes with painted stone sills and painted
lintels. Between first-floor windows to left is a triangular sunk panel
containing the words "ROSE" in relief. Coped gables and shaped kneelers.
