Well cover. Late C18 - early C19. Ashlar and gritstone. Approximately 1.0
x 1.5 metres, rectangular, with open side facing north-east (towards gates,
qv). Plain sawn stone jambs and lintel, moulded cornice, pyramidal roof of
4 courses. The water level is below the present road and verge surface.
