Cottage, also incorporating former stable range of Carlton House
(q.v.). Early C19, 2 builds, one possibly older. Large herrringbone-
tooled sandstone, with dressings, now colour-washed. Pantiled roof
with stone ridge, copings, kneelers and stacks. 2 left bays rendered,
with quoins.
2 storeys, 6 bays in all. In right bay a big segmental-arched
carriage entrance with cut voussoirs, boarded door and round window
above. The next 3 bays are a symmetrical composition with central
renewed 6-panel door. Flanking modern 3-light casements with 2-light
stone-mullioned casements above; single light over door. 2 left bays
irregular: 1 large 3-light modern casement below, two 2-light
mullioned windows, with small-paned casements, above. Rear elevations
modernised.
