Cottage. Late C18. Hammer-dressed stone, dressed quoins, stone
slate roof. Single-storey 2-cell cottage. quoins. Two 3-light
flat-faced mullioned windows with slightly recessed mullions which
have an inner chamfer. Doorway to right has monolithic jambs.
Rear has 2 tall rectangular windows.
Interior: fish-bone king-post truss with trenched purlins. Each
room has fireplace (back-to-back) with monolithic jambs and lintels.
An interesting survival of early working-class housing. Included for
group value.
