Slightly later part of the Co-operative Society building. Dated on
a foundation stone 1896, and inscribed "Holtom & Fox Architects".
Ashlar. 3 storeys with bracketed eaves cornice and dentilled cornice
above ground and 1st floors. 4 bays with giant rusticated pilasters
to left bay and right corner, surmounted by urns. Modern shops to
ground floor. Glass curtain walling to 1st floor with cast iron
columns visible behind. 2nd floor windows are square headed with
alternative segmental and triangular pediments with enriched tympanum.
