Three shop premises. Late C19. Pitch-faced stone ashlar dressings.
Hipped slate roofs. Two storeys but No. 55 has much taller 1st floor
with moulded and bracketed eaves cornice No. 53 is of 2 bays, No. 55
4 bays and No. 57, 2 bays. Ground floor openings are triangular
pedimented in plain raised surrounds, No. 57's single window is
tripartite with transom and central door. To the right of this is
an elliptical arched carriage entrance, now partly blocked by recent
shop front. 1st floor windows of Nos. 53 and 57 are sashes in moulded
surrounds. 1st floor windows to No. 55 are taller and round-arched with
moulded voussoirs and fluted keystones.
