House now 2 dwellings. Mid C19. Ashlar magnesian limestone, Welsh slate
roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays; built as a wing to No 267 (q.v.). Central 4-panel
door and plain overlight in wooden doorcase with pilasters and cornice.
Flanking bays have projecting stone sills to tripartite sash windows of 4, 8
and 4 panes beneath plain lintels. 1st floor: projecting stone sills to
sashes with glazing bars beneath plain lintels. Wooden gutter brackets to
eaves of roof which abuts right return of No 267 on left and is hipped on
right with corniced end stack. Rear has 3 bays of sashes with glazing bars.
Additions to rear right not of special interest. Formerly the master's house
to Wharfedale College established at No 267 in the mid 1850's.
