House, early C19. Ashlar magnesian limestone, Westmorland slate roof, two storeys, three bays with altered additions to rear. Central six-panel door and four-pane overlight in Doric-columned wooden porch with plain frieze and cornice. Outer bays have arched cellar openings beneath sashes with glazing bars having projecting stone sills, flush wooden architraves and flat aches. First floor windows in same style. Kneelers and ashlar gable copings; stone end stack on right. Addition on left has renewed two storey bow window on its left return.
