ST 67 NW STOKE GIFFORD NORTH ROAD

Vicarage. Circa 1865. Rubble brought to courses, quoins, freestone dressings,
slate roof. Main block, set back north wing. Main block, 2 storeys, 3 windows
all glazing bar sashes under gables, lower central gable is set back with shallow
porch under flat hood; left gable has 2 windows below, one above, both under
relieving arches; right gable has canted pitched bay below. North wing has
1½ storeys, 2 windows, a glazing bar sash below, pairs of 4-light sashes between
mullion above rise as eaves dormers; inserted C20 garage door at left. Part of
a major Beaufort estate development in the picturesque tradition. Listed
primarily for group value with the church and the other Beaufort buildings.
