Farmhouse. C18 rebuilding of earlier house, with later alterations.
Limestone and sandstone rubble, rendered at front, stone dressings, slate roof
to front with brick gable stacks, pantiled to rear, double Roman tiled rear
kitchen wing. L-plan. Symmetrical front. 2 storeys-and 3 windows, all
16-pane sashes in moulded architraves with projecting keystone, central panelled
and glass door with plain architrave and keystone, segmental pediment, rubble WC
to left. Rear has single storey extension and rear wing of 2 storeys, 2-light
casement with sandstone segmental head at 1st floor, ground floor has 2-light
casement with iron stanchions and plank door, rear of wing has attic window with
timber lintel, unglazed with plank shutters; south west elevation has shield
with arms at gable end. Interior: not inspected.
