Inn. Late C17 with later alterations and additions. Rubble, rendered,
pantiled roofs with brick gable stacks, double Roman tiled porch. 3 blocks,
with through passage in central block. 2 storeys, 2:1:2 windows, all sashes
except ground floor 16-pane sashes, in exposed box to centre, 2 to left have
plate glass upper sash, central block has 1st floor sash in exposed box and
porch to left with pointed arched window to side and plank door in moulded
frame, single storey wing to left with French window; ground floor rear has
3-light casement under timber lintel, single storey C20 extensions. Interior:
plain beams, rounded not chamfered, frame remaining to former through passage
door, front left room has fireplace with timber bressumer and oven recess to
side.
