House; originally built as a school, by subscription, in 1834. Wet-dashed with
rusticated quoins. Graduated slate roofs with outshuts to rear. Single storey;
3 bays with lower porch to north return. Plank porch door has chamfered
surround with pointed head. Main building has a stepped, projecting chimney
stack with single window to left and 2 to right, each window having triple.
lancets under a rectangular hoodmould with labels. Corniced stone mid chimney,
brick end chimney.
