House, probably mid C17 (with gable entry); extension to north return has 1708
date, with initials I & SI, on door lintel. Later alterations. Coursed,
squared rubble; south return rendered. Graduated slate roof with stone coping
and kneeler to southern gable. Double-pile plan; 2 storeys. Original 3-bay
house has remains of C17 four-light window, now blocked with C18 mullioned
2-light window inserted; C17 fire window to left, C17 two-light window (mullion
removed) and C19 sash to left, all under hoodmould with label. Similar
fenestration to 1st floor (fire window blocked). 2-bay extension has
part-glazed door on left, in moulded doorcase with dated lintel; C19 sash to
each floor on right. Stone mid and end chimneys; south chimney stepped and
corniced. Interior: C17 panelled heck screen and stop-chamfered beams survive.
