Stable block. 1765 on datestone. Red brick, stone dressings, graduated
slate roofs. Main range of 2 storeys, 3 bays, flanked by slightly lower
recessed 2-storey, 3-bay wings. Main range, ground floor: 3 large openings
with impost bands and elliptical gauged brick arches (now blocked); 6-pane
sashes to right and to left. First floor: boarded taking-in door to left,
6-pane sash to right, both under flat gauged brick arches. To centre is a
sundial on a round-headed block, inscribed: JP . Dentilled brick and
1765
moulded stone eaves cornice. Hipped roof. Right and left wings are
similar: to right, a central boarded door with overlight with vertical
glazing bars flanked to right and left by 6-pane windows, all below flat
gauged brick arches. First floor: 2 blocked openings. Dentilled brick
eaves cornice, hipped roof. Left wing is similar with an inserted C20
garage entrance to extreme left.
