Circa 1846 small station and cottage on the Syston and Peterborough Line (Midland
railway) opened in 1846.
Coursed stone rubble with freestone dressings. Collyweston stone roof with
coped gable ends. One storey and attic. Gable end to platform. Two-light
stone mullion window. Canted bay with dormer above facing road to side. Brick
stack over road front wall. Situated by level crossing north of Barnack village.
