Former stables, now house. c.1845 by Samuel Gray, altered C20.
Rock-faced ashlar, plain ashlar quoins and dressings and ashlar.
Bradstone slate roof. Single ashlar ridge stack and 2 louvres
with pyramidal roofs. Single storey plus attics, 7 bay front,
raised and slightly advanced pedimented centre block. Ashlar
plinth, cill and head bands, moulded cornice and dentillated
eaves. Central 6 flush panelled double doors with panelled
overlight, up 3 steps. Set in a shouldered ashlar architrave
with stepped keyblock contained in a recessed semi-circular
headed panel with raised flush keyblock. Flanked by 3 C20 top
hung glazing bar casements having ashlar reveals and plain
tympana to the semi-circular heads with keystones. Above the
door a circular glazing bar lunette in plain ashlar surround. To
the rear the advanced central bay has a wide segmental headed
arch, now infilled with glazing and above a semi-circular headed
window flanked by single narrow glazing bar lights, all in
moulded stone surround with rusticated arch and fluted keystones.
To either side are lower single storey ranges containing double
planked doors and semi-circular headed openings.
