Presbytery. 1862-7. By Edward Welby Pugin. Rock-faced stone with
ashlar dressings and slate roof. 3-bay 2-storey plan with
gabled cross wing in bay 1 and single-storey porch in bay 2.
Gothic Revival. Projecting plinth, ashlar sill and first
floor bands. Lean-to porch in bay 2 with boarded door and
leaded overlight. Canted bay window to left, the sashes
having arched heads, and tripartite sash window to right
with hoodmould. Sash window within coped gable of bay 1,
paired sash in bay 2 and gabled dormer window in bay 3.
Steeply pitched roof with fishscale bands. C20 addition to
rear left and also to right, linking the presbytery to the
church. Included for group value.
