Chapel. 1867. Brick with ashlar facade. 3 x 5 bay hall
with with single gallery. Classical, in a Baroque vein. Open
pedimented 3-bay entrance elevation with boldly rusticated
plinth and a stepped approach to the central double doors.The
central bay is framed by paired giant 3/4 columns which
support the pediment. 3 windows on 2 tiers, the upper ones
arched and the middle of these larger, with its head
extending into the zone of the entablature which extends
across the rest of the front, turns the corners with a
recessed quadrant and continues over the first bay of the
side elevations which match the side bays of the front.
Parapet. Tall arched windows to sides having impost band and
apron panels. Additional rooms, vestries etc. project to
either side at the rear. Interior:fittings include timber
pews, gallery and pulpit. Coved ceiling. Stained glass.
