Cottage. Early C17. Local stone cut and squared with Ham stone dressings; Welsh slate roof between coped gables;
rendered end chimney stacks. 2-storeys, 3-bay symetrical front. 4-light ovolo mould mullioned windows with leaded
lights to lower bays -1 and -3, with moulded chamfered arched doorway to bay -2, all under a continuous string course
raised above doorway; above doorway a stone plaque incised 'ANO DNI 1604 R.W."; 3-light leaded casements to first floor
with exposed wall plate over. Interior not seen, but SANHS report (1978) speaks of an original continuous outshut,
half-post and truss structure, timber framed partitions and chamfered beams with step and run-out stops, a fireplace
and a former smoke-bay.
