Cottage (formerly several units). Probably C16. Local stone rubble; Bridgwater patent triple angle clay tiles with
plain gables; brick intermediate chimney stacks. One-storey with attic, 9 bays of which bays -1 and -2, probably a
former barn, project. A variety of 1, 2 and 3-light casement windows, some with single horizontal glazing bars and all
with exposed timber lintels; boarded entrance doorway in heavy frame with exposed timber lintel to bay 5; attic window
bay-2 in pitched roof dormer, those to bays -3, -5, -6 and -7 in raked dormers. Interior not seen, but VAS Report,
unpublished SRO, December 1981, mentions a variety of raised and jointed cruck trusses, smoke blackened, and three
fireplaces.
