Farmhouse, formerly Manor house. C16/17 refashioned in late C19. Rendered stone
rubble. Asbestos slate roof with gabled and hipped ends. Lower end at slightly
lower level. Two storeys. Six window range. Circa late C19 casements with glazing
bars. Small gable at right end. Two storeyed gabled porch to left of centre, with
moulded wooden inner door frame. Semi-circular stair turret at rear and rear lean-to
outshut. Rebuilt brick chimney stacks at gable end and ridge.
Interior: wooden newel staircase at rear. Some plain chamfered door frames with
stopped jambs.
The house is on the site of a medieval manor house.
