GV II

Lych gate. 1862, by Bodley. Coursed rubble limestone with ashlar
dressings. Iron gates. Pointed-arched carriageway with 2-leaf
railed gates. Smaller pointed-arched pedestrian gateway to east
with ribbed cross vaulting; buttress to dividing pier between
archways. Hipped weathered coping to top. A strong design,
grouping with the Church of All Saints (q.v.).
