CHEDWORTH CHEDWORTH VILLAGE

11/45 Blakemoor

GV II

Detached house. Late C17 with slightly later extension. Limestone
rubble with dressed stone quoins; stone slate roof; C20 ashlar
stacks. Rectangular plan to main body with almost contemporary
extension at right angles on the north-west forming a 'T'-shaped
over all plan. Single-storey outbuilding at the south-east corner,
not of special interest. 1 1/2 storeys. South-west (roadside) front:
3-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement with stopped
hood; C20 five-light bow window to right; gablet with 2-light
casement above with 2-light half dormer to the left. Three-light
double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement to the ground floor of
the left gable end; 2-light C19 casement with a timber lintel
above. Single slit light with diamond-leaded panes to the attic.
