Detached house. Late C17 with C19 wash house extension. Thinly-
bedded roughly squared and dressed limestone with dressed stone
quoins; stone slate roof to main body; slate roof to wash house;
brick stacks and stacks with dressed stone quoins (restored C20).
Rectangular plan with wash house extension to the left gable end.
Lean-to extension to the rear not of special interest. Two
storeys and attic with single-storey wash house. Symmetrical 2-
windowed facade lit by 2 and 3-light double-chamfered stone
mullioned casements with stopped hoods; central 2-light slate-hung
roof dormer. Central C19 six-panelled door (two upper panels now
glazed) with a concrete lintel. Single-light to attic at the
right gable end. Two 2-light wooden casements to the wash house.
Gable-end and off-the-ridge stacks.
Interior not inspected.
