Detached house. Late C17-early C18 (later cast-iron plaque dated
and initialled 'S T E 1799' between first floor windows (q.v.) stone
date plaque with same date and initials on Bradways Close).
Coursed squared and dressed limestone, stone slate roof, ashlar
stacks. Rectangular main body with later extension at right angles
running forwards left. 1 1/2 storeys, upper floor of main body lit by
two 3-light hollow-moulded stone-mullioned windows with gables
over. Two similar windows but with stopped hoods to ground floor.
C20 plank door with wooden Tudor-arched surround left. Two C20
stone-mullioned windows in right gable end of main body. Three-
light C20 casement lighting first floor of forward facing gable
end. Interior not inspected.
