5/3 Stableblock, Daylesford House

Stables c1800, and late C19-early C20. Coursed, squared and
dressed limestone, slate roof. 'H'-shaped plan with late C19-early
C20 open-fronted store with cast iron pillar supports attached to
left wall of right wing at front. Palladian style. 2-storey wings
at rear otherwise one storey. Central round-headed arch with flat-
chamfered surround, 2-light casement above then triangular pediment
incorporating clock. 3-bay partly blind arcade to other side of
central arch, lunette windows at top of each arch. Blocked window
with triple keystone at either end of arcade, single oculus over
each (one blocked). Band at same height as keystones continued
across facade. 3 double doors with lunette shaped lights over to
wings either side. Concrete paving to yard at rear decorated with
impressions of horseshoes. Hipped roof to wings.
Tiled interior to stables.
