4/8 Gatepiers and wall forming north-
east boundary of Adlestrop Park
GV II
Gate piers and wall running north west from Adlestrop Park up to
churchyard boundary wall (q.v.). Probably mid C18. Ashlar piers,
coursed squared and dressed limestone wall. Square gate piers with
moulded capping with bases for unicorns heads (removed) above.
Wall stepped up to form gable end of building (now demolished)
right, blocked doorway within gable-end and left of gable-end.
Plank door far right within C18 moulded architrave with keystone.
Ball finial far right where wall changes direction. Steeply
pitched saddleback coping as far as ball finial, flat coping to
wall forming quadrant beyond.
