II
Farmhouse. Dated 1771 on re-set datestone with mid C19 alterations. Dressed
sandstone, Welsh slate roof and stone chimneys. 2-storey, 3-bay main block
with single-storey, 2-bay wing on left. Tooled quoins. Main block has central
replaced door behind unsympathetic mid C20 porch. Datestone inscribed L A I
1771 probably from doorway now re-set above window on ground-floor left bay.
Surrounds have alternating jambs and replaced sashes. First-floor openings
heightened and eaves raised. Low-pitched roof with coped gables. Wing has
two replaced 16-pane sashes and a low-pitched roof with coped left gable and
left end stack. Altered farmbuilding on right return of main block is not
of special interest.
