Rectory Terrace
II

Terrace of 3 houses (originally coach house and barn). Early C19 of 2 builds
with mid C19 alterations; No. 2 dated 1813 on keystone. Squared rubble and
dressings painted white; Welsh slate roof and dressed stone chimneys. 2
storeys; each house 3 bays with No. 1 at left. Straight joint between Nos. 2
and 3. Squared quoins at ends and junction. Each house has central doorway
with alternating jambs and replaced door. Replaced 16-pane sashes with
projecting sills. Blocked segmental coach arch, with raised keystone dated
1813 and inserted sash, on left bay of No. 2. Continuous steeply-pitched
roof with coped gables and shaped kneelers. End and 2 ridge stacks with
chamfered top bands. Blocked breathers on return of No. 1 (formerly a barn).
Single-storey added outshuts under pent roofs on rear of each house.
