3/99 Woodfield Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Probably late C17 to early C18, remodelled and extended in early
C19. Timber-frame with brick infill, brick, hipped Welsh slate and stone slate
roofs, brick stacks. Irregular plan aligned north/south. Two storeys. West
elevation has 4 windows, glazing bar sashes set between giant brick pilasters,
to the left of front stack is a blind brick window position beneath which is
a 2-light mid-C20 casement , entry to right of centre in early C20 lean-to
porch. Projecting at right angles to the east is a 2-bay granary with exposed
timber-framed gable and tallet stair rising from the east on the south side.
To the north of the granary is an early C19 brick extension, formerly a stable
with a stone slate roof.
