3/95 Church House Farmhouse

Farmhouse. C18, possibly with earlier origins and early C19 extensions.
timber-frame with brick infill, tiled roof and end stacks. L-plan with
C18 part aligned north-east/south-west and C19 extension attached to north.
Cellar and two storeys. South-east elevation has three windows, segmentally-
headed mid-C19 and mid-C20 casements of three lights, except over entry where
there is a 2-light casement, 6-panelled early C19 door under early C20 open
porch, two plat bands one above each row of casements, and corner posts, ties
and panels of timber-framed structure visible in gable ends. Extension to
north has hipped roof, sashes to south-west elevation and cogged brick eaves
cornices. Attached to south-west of the C18 part is a three-bay mid-C19
granary with bolted king-post trusses.
