SO 51 NW LLANGARRON CP TREWEN

5/151 Ragged House

House. C17 with mid-C19 added south cross-wing, altered C20. Coursed
and squared sandstone rubble ashlar dressing, slate roof. C17 range aligned
north/south facing west with mid-C19 cross-wing to south and C20 altered
granary extension to north; cross-wing encloses former gable end stack,
further axial stack toward north gable. Two storeys and attic with single
storey and attic to north (former granary) section. Three windows to C17
range; on first floor 2-light stone mullioned windows flanking central
single-light window; on ground floor 3-light stone mullioned windows with
square hoodmould flank central C20 gabled porch with C20 ledged door; C20
inserted stone mullioned windows to north section, two single-light windows
with hoodmoulds to C19 gable end, further similar window to attic in gable.
Interior: altered, former south gable end outer doorway now enclosed.
